Women's Conference

February 21 – 22, 2020

Every year, women from across Texas come together at Highland Lakes Camp and Conference Center to experience life change and celebrate in community with other sisters in Christ. They leave refreshed and ready to take the next step towards the heart of God.

This special gathering is designated to help women of all ages and walks of life be encouraged in their relationship with Christ; get connected with other women who desire to be used by God; and, to become better equipped to make a difference in their family, workplace, church, community and world.

Your heart will be encouraged through thought provoking Bible study, authentic worship, uplifting praise, relevant topical seminars, hands-on ministry, laughter and lots of sweet fellowship. There is something for everyone!

Jagee Melton

Jagee is an effective teacher and role model for girls of all ages, and has a heartfelt desire to use her gifts to encourage and equip a new generation of girls to make Godly choices and to walk in the way of the Lord. Sharing real-life experiences that others can relate to, Jagee teaches how we can live in this world and live effectively for our Lord and Savior. In 1994, she married her answer to prayer—Larry Dan Melton Jr, who currently serves as the Children’s Pastor of Fielder Road Baptist Church in Arlington, Texas. Jagee and Larry Dan have been blessed with five children, four boys and one daughter.

Caren Goodman

Born into a ministry family, I learned early the importance of study, worship, and service. More importantly, I learned that Jesus loved me and sacrificed his life for my salvation. At the age of seven, I committed my life to Christ and began my journey of faith. Sunday School, mission trips, Christian camps, and Vacation Bible School, as well as those teachers and leaders who invested in me, nurtured my call to ministry. Later attending Baylor University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, I graduated with degrees in English and religious education, preparing me to live out my calling. While at Southwestern, I met and married Wally Goodman, a childhood friend who happened to visit the same church I attended on our first Sunday in Fort Worth. God blessed us with three children, Erin, Brent, and Cristen, and four grandsons. Thus, our favorite identities are now Gg and Doc.

Lisa Mills

An award-winning comedian, motivational speaker, actor, & author. Her acting debut was working alongside network television’s favorite military gal, Catherine Bell on the Lifetime Channel’s hit show, Army Wives. As an in-demand keynote speaker, she is known for her message of Transforming Ordinary Into Extraordinary. Her always funny, laser-sharp wit has been featured on the Lifetime Network, NOW Network, Impact Network, Netflix, the Dove Channel, and iHeart Radio. She can be seen headlining venues around the country while touring and promoting her latest book, Lord Did I Really Shave My Legs For This? Lisa Mills resides just outside the city of Atlanta with her awesome husband and two amazing sons.

Jessa Myer

Born and raised in Central Texas by parents who were musicians and worship leaders. Being around music ministry from such a young age enabled her to nurture and develop the gift that God gave her. She was singing and playing the piano by 5 years old, writing songs by age 9, and co-leading worship for her youth group by age 13. Jessa has been married to Marcus for 10 years, and they have 3 amazing sons. She is currently one of the worship leaders at her local church outside of Austin, Texas. Her love and adoration for the Lord has been evident to most who have been able to worship with her. She brings an authenticity of soul and depth of sound to every song she sings. Her offering of music is a clear reflection of her passion for Jesus
