What Is the Summer Missions Team
The Summer Missions Team Program is a life-changing experience for college students who love Jesus and want to serve Him wholeheartedly through camp ministry. Following Christ’s example, Summer Missionaries serve and minister to the needs of others, all the while being grown and shaped in their own walk, to go out from here and further the kingdom.
We're looking for 60 fun-loving, Christ-serving, difference-making college students who are ready to give completely of themselves this summer to make an impact in the lives of others. As part of the team, you'll help make every part of camp -- from the ropes course, to the dining hall, the worship services, and the concession stand -- a fun, Christ-focused, and memorable experience for all who enter our gates.
What's In It For You? We're Glad You Asked:
You will develop leadership and life skills that the Lord will continue to use in you long after camp. You'll get to live and grow in community with fellow believers who will build you up and push you to be your best. You'll have countless opportunities share the love of Christ through serving others, and you'll leave a lasting impact on the hundreds of campers who will come to know Christ while here. Chances are, it will leave an impact on you as well. This is a physically, spiritually, and emotionally demanding experience, but we think you'll find that it is incredibly worth it.
So if you're ready for one of the most fun, challenging, and rewarding summers of your life, then fill out an application today!

What to Expect
Summer Missionaries are placed on different ministry teams to serve in a variety of areas. Don't worry -- we'll train you in everything you need to know (and more) and equip you to be the very best. Click on the name of each team below, and see which one is right for you! In addition, you will be assigned a Community Group made up of Summer Missionaries and staff members from various ministry areas. This will be your “camp family” while you’re here, and you'll join with them for weekly Bible studies, hangout times, and evening assignments such as dining hall clean up and concession stand shift. And the family that works together -- plays together! Throughout the summer we'll have opportunities between camps for game and movie nights, trips to town, or just chilling in your hammock with some of your awesome new friends.
Spend your days in the great outdoors sharing the joy of Christ with campers as you facilitate the ropes course, ranges, and other activities, or lifeguard at the lakefront and pool.
Prepare and serve delicious meals hot and on-time to keep guests happy and fueled for the day! The Food Service team literally keeps the rest of camp running, which is a big job, so this team is split into morning and evening shifts.
Tell the story of camp through videography and photography, and create an environment for worship by running lighting, sound, and more during the daily worship services. Some previous experience is preferred for members of this team, though not necessarily required.
Manage operations of the Gift Shop and Concession Stand to minister to the needs of guests and help raise funds for the camp. Plus you'll become a master Brown Cow maker.
Keep the whole camp running smoothly and looking great by serving in areas such as landscaping, building maintenance and repairs, and providing water to all the thirsty guests!
Work alongside the Camp Nurse to ensure the safety and care of campers by responding to any injuries or illness, as well as managing the daily operations of the Health Center.
